Re-take of the feet image

On the course last week part of the assignment was to take a photo of feet.
Well my daughter wanted an image of the children with their feet popping out from the end of the bed. I'm sure you've seen images like these as there's a lot of similar compositions all over the web.
When I posted the one I originally took ( see the post before this) I had a few comments on the forum that it was bordering on the morbid ! When I was setting it up in never actually occurred to me what it ended up looking like to be honest. Once someone mentioned it I really found it in some strange way quite funny.Anyhow I decided it wasn't a very good idea after all and re-took them, without the labels this week.
Sian, my daughter has had it blown up and printed to a size of 20x30 to give to her hubby on his birthday tomorrow from the children. I added the text to the original in Photoshop Elements. Took me quite a while to do this as I had no idea what I was doing but it all turned out well in the end.
I think the re-take is a whole lot better than the original with tags on !!
If you click on the image it will give you a clearer view.

Week 3 & 4 of the course.

Well I didn't get on very well in attempting to do week 3 which was titled Stranger Danger ! The assignment was that we had to ask a total stranger if we could photograph them ! The second part of the assignment was to take a profile shot.
I managed the profile shot but not the total stranger - day to day life got in the way !!

Here's my profile shot.
This is Charlie my little grandson who kindly posed for me,deep in thought !

For WEEK 4 the assignment was titled Perfect Mayhem and the requirement was that you took a photo of feet, hands and action, You could upload one of each or three of the same. In addition to this we also had to set a home made photo booth up and let the subject go wild. Again we had to upload our favourite three images.

I decided to do one of each for the first part.
One of my grandson making an excellent job of keeping, not one but four hoopla's on the go.
2nd one is the hand of my baby granddaughter holding on to her mother's finger.
And the third if all their little feet peeping out from under the bedclothes!

For the photo booth part we had two pirates, one protecting the little princess and the other trying to kidnap her with his hooked hand. We also had a rock band. We had such fun taking these photos but I would mention that I really wouldn't wish to be a children's photographer - it's utter mayhem getting them to do things together !!

I took one other one for the action part on Sunday but unfortunately didn't have time to do any more of the assignment, but here's my eldest granddaughter doing a star jump for me.

That's it now the end of another course until the next one ! I do enjoy doing these courses and you learn such a lot from them and it's nice to share & see other peoples photos.
