My No 1 - I can't remember the last time I used the auto mode ( heaven forbid )
My No 2 - I really don't like photos that have been taken using the on camera flash !
There was only one way to capture these photo in the conditions that I was faced with last Friday.
Molly was competing at the All England Dance Finals. There was
no way that I was going to let the opportunity for a photo pass me by but the conditions were dreadful for photography.
The dressing rooms were down in the dungeons of the Peacock Theatre, so no natural light! and very little artificial light either come to that, unless you classed a couple of spotlights here and there of any use.They were not allowed to come out of the dressing rooms to the communal area in their costumes, there were hundreds of dancers/mothers/teachers milling round everywhere including walking in front of me while I was trying to take the photos. So there was nothing else for it except the auto setting & the flash !!
